Before I took pictures of Super Fresh this day, I ran across this Super Fresh at the DAV Thrift Store down the street:

  1. Looks like gr8 pictures. There is a store in Harrisonburg called “Ollie’s Bargain Outlet”, inside the former Farmer Jacks area. It has the blue front facade, and an “Entrance Only” sign on the right side of the building. The concrete front and the slanted windows are also a shared feature. Was the store in these pictures a former Farmer Jacks location?

    • Yeah, it was a Super Fresh and then a Farmer Jack. Super Fresh turned into Farmer Jack in some markets in 1997.

  2. In case you didn’t know, the Super Fresh/Farmer Jack in Hampton has been destroyed completely. It happened earlier this year. I passed by the site today and nothing is left of it, you can’t even tell its their. The theatre also looks to be a church.
