  2. Thanks for tipping us off to this photoset…I love a good labelscar too.

    Sometimes the newest malls are the first to die. The 1970’s and 1980’s were a heady time for developers…many malls were built that never had a chance.

    This mall was started in the 70’s, went bankrupt, sat for nearly 15 years until it was finally completed in the late ’80s. I doubt it will make it to the end of 2006, since one of the last anchors, Mervyn’s, is going to shut down all stores in Tulsa by Feb, 2006.
