Freedom Plaza (Dead April 2008)
We all remember my post last year about FREEDOM PLAZA?
It’s dead. The tornado that ripped through Suffolk yesterday demolished this place.

A true blessing that not a single person lost their his or her life in this destruction. A true blessing.

Indeed, it was.
Was watching a TV report. Woman who ran a nail salon there (I guess in Freedom Plaza), she and a bunch of folks were practically covered over in debris. She had to dig out her young child (a baby or young toddler, I think). But (IIRC) the kid & the rest were relatively unharmed.
Plus it seems Obici was closeby. Had a tornado hit the hospital– well, things could’ve been a lot worse.

I guess our fallen heroes weren’t interested in having a shopping plaza named after them.
Or maybe it was a terrorist tornado. You know they hate our freedoms? Or at least our Freedom Plazas.
