My mom and I were looking through some old photos today, and I found this random photo she took in the movie theater she worked at. I forgot the name of the theater, but it was behind Newmarket South Shopping Center in Hampton, VA. I’m guessing here, but maybe they were called the Newmarket Theaters? And like the title implies it was two round buildings. She worked there in the late 1970′s into the very early 1980′s.
The two movie theaters closed in the early to mid 1990′s.
I had another pic of my mom in the theater, but it got put in storage.
It was the Newmarket Rocking Chair Theatre.

actually, the Rockingchair was across the parking lot, this was called the Newmarket Twin, worked there from 81-85, both theatres, miss them both.
